Introduces C2G Performance Series HDMI® Line and HDBaseT™ Extenders to existing offering

Dayton, OH — February 16, 2021 — C2G, a brand of Legrand, has just introduced a new line of C2G Performance Series HDMI Cables and a completely refreshed line of HDBaseT Extenders. These new connectivity solutions pair with the existing C2G and Legrand | AV offering of products and solutions designed for commercial AV applications in boardroom, conference room, lecture hall, classroom and digital signage environments.

• 100% testing at the production line to ensure each item meets our standards, ensuring it will perform as expected in the field,
• Cable jackets rated to the highest standard required for the installation space, either in-wall or in a plenum space, reducing the time and complexity required to select the right cable.
• Connectors with a compact overmolding and finger grips on all sides, making the cables easy to insert and remove in limited access spaces and high-density environments. Additionally, the gripping connector shell provides twice the port retention of a standard connector, reducing the chances of an accidental disconnect.

The C2G HDBaseT Extenders support up to 4K video resolution at a 60Hz frame rate for up to 130ft over a single Cat6a. Each system, transmitter and receiver are powered by a single power supply on one side, reducing installation complexity and eliminating the need to power a wall plate transmitter.

Options are available for extending HDMI AV signals with USB 2.0 — ideal for extensions supporting an interactive whiteboard — or HDMI AV signals with IR or Serial control for small scale digital signage systems. Transmitters are available as either a wall plate or box with AV input options that include HDMI, USB-C (HDMI AV), VGA, USB Data, and IR or Serial Control, while all box receivers output through a single HDMI port with options for audio de-embedding and resolution upscaling.

The Performance Series Cables and HDBaseT Extenders join the C2G AV targeted offerings highlighted by patent pending HDMI Adapter Rings, AV over IP, USB Extenders and Audio Reinforcement solutions.
