how does this product work when you have both male ends of the SC and ST. Dont know if butting up both male ends through the adapter.

does this product service both single and multimode connectors
Yes this will work with Singlemode however the industry standard for singlemode is blue.

Could I use this adapter to plug SC Patch Cable into a Media Converter that has ST receptacle?
This adapter is made to connect 2 cables together. If used in this manner with SC on one side and ST one the other, it should function as intended.
