The HDMI, VGA, and Audio to HDMI Converter Switch is an ideal solution for connecting an HDMI source device, such as a Blu-ray™ player, and a VGA and audio source device, such as a laptop computer, to a single HDMI port on an HDTV or projector. This converter switch automatically converts VGA and audio signals to an HDMI audio/video signal without driver installation or software and offers automatic or manual switching modes to switch between the HDMI and VGA + audio source devices. This converter is designed for applications where the projector or display only has an HDMI input, but the devices being used have a mix of ports, e.g. laptop (VGA) and Blu-ray (HDMI), and must be connected to the projector or display. This application is common in classrooms and conference rooms where this converter simplifies the user experience by eliminating the need for additional adapters, and allows the projector or display to remain on the same input for all connected devices.
