I am trying to hook up two different sound sources to my TV. My DVD player and my Computer. I plan on buying two of these and plug in the white cables to the white input on my TV and the red cables into the red input. Will that work and give me stereo output from both sources?

Yes this will give you the stereo sound for both devices. Be sure not to use both sources at the same time.
