For the price you can't do better
I have used velocity cables for years and have them to be consistant in quality and when I received my first one I was susprised that it was made better than many highend cables-Read BIG $$$. In 8 years I have found zero problems or faiures with them. When a my best friend asked me to hook up her DVDR+hard drive to her satalite receiver, and 50 inch flat screen I went for velocity. I do not feel by spending 3 times the price that you get 3 times the transmission quality if it is just for home use. The sound and picture are fantastic. What more can I say. She is overjoyed and I knew she would be with these cables.

NOT GOOD!
I have been in the hifi hobby for over forty five years and have never had cables generate hum. These do!! i picked up a cheapo radio shack type standard cable and even that was dead quiet. To top it off these cables are not cheap. in my opinion a poor buy.

Introduced a lot of noise
I was excited to receive these cables as the reviews here described them as being outstanding especially for the money. I purchased 6 cables in all; three .5m and three 1m lengths. Upon installing them into my modestly mid-fi components, I immediately noticed the addition of a large amount of noise. Figuring it was a bad cable, I tried the others. Same thing. I tried them backwards and forwards, split and twisted, raised and lowered and nothing made these interconnects sound good. Believe it or not I heard far less noise with the free cables that came with my cable box than I did with these cables. I've tried everything to make these cables sound okay and in the end, the just sound terrible. I purchased BJC LC-1 to replace these and have been quite happy.
The most noise, by far, was introduced between my turntable and phono stage and then phono stage to pre-amp.
Yes, these are low-budget cables but potential buyers need to understand that 4.5 stars needs to be taken into perspective. For instance, the McD's down the street gets a 4-star rating online as does the high-end, French eatery a few miles away. Does that mean the food is on par with one another? Don't buy based on reviews alone. Nothing has made this more clear to me than this purchase.

This is one cable. There is a molded that binds both cables together.

Are there RCA plugs on both ends of this cable assembly? Shouldn't have to ask this but the description says "Connector 1--1 Audio Male; Connector 2--1 Audio Male". I'd sure hate to buy this with only one end useable.
This is a Left and Right audio cable and same RCA on both sides.
