When connecting serial ATA devices to a motherboard or host controller, you want a permanent solution. The last thing you need is a cable that could fatigue or even fail over time because of bending or stress occurring at the critical connection. Our angled connectors deliver the cable at a more desired angle and are fortified to keep the cable lined up straight. With our 7-pin, 1-device cable, you'll receive higher data transmission rates, reduced crosstalk, and improved signal integrity. Plus, this cable reduces overheating and saves internal space within the CPU unit for easy movement when adding or removing hard drives, PCI cards or other adapters. Our serial ATA cable can minimize clutter, increase airflow and maximize your potential transfer rate.

Serial ATA Cable works
The cable is standard and works by plugging onto my pc's motherboard at 1 end (straight) and the back of my new CD burner with the 90 degree end. The cable end-plugs do not have lock clips like some other SATA cables, but this is fine, especially on the crowded motherboard. It is a little more expensive than from some other website, but Cables To Go have provided me reliable quality for my past few purchases. My CD burner seems to be getting enough power.

Worked great
The length is perfect for the new computer I built. I haven't yet tried 6Gb/sec speeds. The cable construction is good and strong.

In a Panic
I was in a panic and needed a new connector cable quick, and I found what I wanted with C2G. Delivery was quick, installation no problems, and material and construction top notch. Price was good as far as I am concerned.

Space saver cables
These cables help with tight spaces where drives are close to the case frame. That 90 degree bend can save you just enough space to instsll your SATA devicr and still close the case or instsll it into the case.

Good Cable - Simple to install.
Needed it to install a new internal drive. Took more time to put in the drive than to connect the cable.
Same format as original in computer. Great.

I have purchased several #10189 SATA cables which claim to be 6 inches in length. They actually measure 6.5 inches from the rear of each connector. Do you make one that is 6 inches and has two right angle plugs that face opposite to one another? (one faces up and the other faces down. Thanks, Robert
The 6in is the length of the cable not including the connector. The only two right angled SATA cable we carry is 18in (#10182).
