What if you are connecting this to a Crestron system and a polycom group 500. All the research i have shows it just a standard cross over pin out. Meaning 2-3 3-2 5-5 Is your cable a special pin out?

I am wondering if I can get this cable (DB9 femal to 8-pin Mini Din Male Adapter Cable) in a 25 foot length? I would prefer a single cable to the option of using an extension. The application is to connect laboratory equipment to a PC.

Is this cable bi-directional? Two way comunication.

This cable is Bi-Directional however this Sends the communication signal from your control system to your NEC plasma or projector and has a specialty pin out.

In case we have to use other pins on the connector whats the color scheme of the cable to the 8 pin connector?

DB9 8pin Din 2 7 3 1 5 4 This is the pin out of the cable. There are no other conductors from what we can tell. This is sold and build directly from NEC and we can not provide any other information.
