HOW TO EXTEND AN HDMI SIGNAL

Learn Three Easy Ways To Extend HDMI

Watch this short video and learn about three easy ways to extend an HDMI signal.

In this video you'll learn how to extend the distance of an HDMI signal, using three different solutions. HDMI is the most popular way to transmit HD video and audio signals from a cable box, receiver, projector, laptop, or Blu-ray™ player to a digital display such as an HDTV. Extending the length of an HDMI cable more than 25 feet can be challenging. The longer the distance between the output and input of the signal, the more distorted the signal becomes. To overcome this signal degradation, try extending an HDMI signal using a solution from C2G.

The first HDMI extension solution from C2G is the HDMI In-Line Extender, a coupler that connects two HDMI cables. This coupler is capable of supporting a 4K resolution at extension distances up to 50 feet. It can also support a 1080p resolution at extension distances up to 82 feet. The second HDMI extension solution from C2G is a Short Range HDMI Extender. With this option you will be able to extend an HDMI audio and video signal up to 130 feet at 1080p using two Cat6 cables, or up to 65ft using Cat5e cable. The last, and longest HDMI extension solution from C2G is the HDMI HDBaseT Lite Extender Kit. Using HDBaseT Lite technology, this extender kit supports 4K resolution at extension distances up to 190 feet.
