Challenge
A CPA firm in Miami contracted One Touch Technologies to install A/V cabling and devices in a conference room on the 10th floor of an office suite, overlooking Biscayne Bay. The room was long and thin and can be sectioned off into two separate rooms—depending on meeting requirements—with seating for 25-30 people available in the main room. The front wall holds a 55" flat screen, and a 42" flat screen is located on the back wall. The main room has a projector with a projection screen that drops down out of the ceiling. All of these devices needed to be connected to one main hub and be able to display from multiple inputs.
Solution
One Touch Technologies selected the C2G 4x4 UXGA Video Matrix Switch with 3.5mm Audio to control the inputs being run to the TVs and the projector. C2G long-run VGA cabling was hooked up to each of the displays and projector, with the switch controlling the input. The input options included a custom built table mount built with the C2G VGA wall plate, wall input, and teleconferencing.
Results
The C2G 4x4 UXGA Video Matrix Switch with 3.5mm Audio enables easy switching between the multiple video sources in the room. Plus, the custom built table top input ensures that any customer or client walking in the room can easily plug in and present. The customer was very satisfied with the solution and continues to use One Touch Technologies for all of their conference room A/V installations.
