Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent replacement This is a replacement for OEM controller equipment used on a computer controlled/manipulated system. The original developed solder weaknesses at one or more of the pins resulting in sporadic communications between the controller unit and CPU. The replacement was a recommendation by the manufacturer due to the age and frequent usage of the controller unit.

Asked by: Linda
This is the connector only. You would need to solder any conductors to this connector depending upon the needed pin out.

I need to replace a 5 pin DIN male to male cable that is used as a DC power connection for an outboard power component for stereo equipment. The cable wire indicates 24 AWG. I got a 5 pin Midi patch cable but it didn't power up the unit. Any ideas?

Asked by: Chris
It could be the Pin out of the cable you are using. We do not offer a cable that would fit your needs.

This is a Solder type connector. The connnctor will come apart to give you better access to the pins.
