Do you have a video for installation of a mini din 4 pin solder?

Unfortunately we do not have a video showing how to solder the connector. I would however recommend verifying the pin out of the connector with the manufacturer of the connected equipment for verification.

Can I use this adaptor to connect a microphone with a 4-pin plug to my Canon Vixia? -- which just has a port for a 2-pin / mini plug audio jack. Thanks!

That is a 4 pin mini din connector (s-video). This would not work with your Canon Vixia.
