What does Riser CMR rated mean? Does this meet in wall standards?
CMR also known as Riser rated cable is rated for running between floors of a structure. CMR is required to pass specific burn tests that help prevent fire spreading from floor to floor. CMR is capable of being installed in wall but can not be used in plenum (shared air space).
