This Cat6 network crossover patch cable is an ideal solution for connecting two computer to share files or data. The crossed pin configuration allows two computers to be connected peer-to-peer without the need for a hub or switch. This cable may also be used to connect network switches and hubs without an uplink port to other switches and hubs. Each cable is fully tested, quality inspected, and meets all TIA/EIA Cat6 standards. This cable has been designed tor educe both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) which ensures error-free transmission. Constructed from high quality cable and a shortened body plug, this design minimizes Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) levels. This patch cable provides the necessary throughput and is able to handle up to Gigabit Ethernet speeds. The molded, snagless design prevents unwanted cable snags during installation without impairing the ability to insert and remove the connector from the port. It also provides unparalleled strain relief so that the cable is not damaged even when pulled excessively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cat6 crossover ethernet cable My Squeezebox3 (by Logitech) is a wireless network music device that provides internet radio streams to my home theater sound system. I bought a network Bluray disk player that wants an ethernet connection to function with Netflix etc, but there is no RJ-45 socket anywhere near my hi-fi gear. Fortunately, the Squeezebox3 has a wireless bridge functionality that can be used, with a crossover cable, to provide network access to the Bluray player. Since the player is close to the Squeezebox3, a short crossover cable was all I needed, and this fit the bill perfectly. Over-long cords and cables that clutter up one's living room are nearly as annoying as too short. It's great to have a source for cables of whatever length is needed and not be restricted to the narrow choices available (if they have it at all) at the walk-in stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good fast cables I needed some very short CAD 6 crossover cables that were red. They had what I needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I really disliked it It hasn't all four pairs crossed. Only green and orange pairs are swapped. It it not possible to use them at gigabit speeds. And make no sense swap only two pairs, since when crossing all four pairs, it works for both 10/100 and gigabit speeds (but it is mandatory crossing all four pairs for gigabit). And makes no sense buying a Cat6 cable for not use it at gigabit speeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome crossover cable - and it's red! This is a great crossover cable. I have tried several others on my Riverbed Steelhead and none are giving us the solid consistent performance that this cable is. I highly recommend it!

I have a Samsung blue ray disc player you can hook up 2 the internet what does echernet cable wire look like?

Asked by: sexy mama 69
You would normally connect the Blu-Ray player to a router with a regular Cat6 cable like 27132. A Crossover patch cable is used for a different application.
