Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fixed all my problems As I have been remodeling my home I have run cat 5e for telephone and ethernet, and coax for TV to almost every room. Each line runs to a phone/video/cat panel. This device told me that I had two pair of cat 5e wires crossed at the panel and that I was using a bad patch cord. The odd thing is that my Roku was able to connect to the internet after I rebooted it, pulled the cables and reinserted them, and refreshed my modem many times. How it worked at all is a mystery. Now I was able to identify the problems and I know that all my ethernet patch cords and my component to component RG coax cables are good. All works really well on the first attempt to connect.
