what is the maximum length HDMI you can use with this?
we do not specify a length limit. The limit is really up to the limit of the cable itself. Passive cables are generally limited to 5 meters, while active cables can go much longer, even up to 75 ft. The cable type and construction are your biggest limits.

I have a HP elite book 840 g5 model lap top that I want to connect to 2 LG monitors , my lap top has only one HDMI port , will this product allow me to display my lap top screen to the 2 monitors at the same time
This will allow both monitors to display. However the monitors will only mirror eachother.

Can you add more HDMI ports to a tower for different inputs
I am not sure I understand the question. If you are talking about adding ports to a desktop tower, then you would need to check with the computer manufacturer. The C2G product referenced allows you to connect 1 source to 2 different displays.

Does this splitter support dual extended display monitors?
Each output will be the same. This cannot be used to extend displays.
