Can you please clarify your answer. Do you need an orange lead on both ends of yellow runner if no adaptor is used. Or Do you need two orange leads and two adaptors to get it to work over any yellow runner.
If you are using a YELLOW Runner you have to have 2 adapters if you are using ORANGE Leads.

Can a RapidRun yellow runner cable have an orange HD15 pin flying lead connected to it without an adapter?
No. You would need to use an adapter on both orange flying leads if you are using a yellow runner. Also, please note that if you are using an orange lead on one side, you will also need to use an orange lead on the other.
